...aah, 'Point Break'...on paper it has NO reason to be anywhere near as good as it actually is...Terrific movie! (and one that confounded traditional hollywood wisdom that says that female directors can't do action movies)..Katherine Bigelow pulls a rabbit out of the hat with this one...

Patrick Swayze walks like a comedy duck in his wetsuit. Like many ladies, mine had been quite taken by him after Dirty Dancing, but never again after Point Break.

Mo off Eastenders update: Laila Morse was the name given to her by Gary Oldman as it's an anagram of "mia sorella," meaning "my sister" in Italian. Fact fans.

...Patrick Swayze IS a comedy duck... ...and these days, he's a very strange looking man, too...

(Point Break remains a great popcorn action movie though...)

(Oh yeah quite right, exactly as you say, the fact that it's a great flick seems accidental. Directors everywhere must point to it as an example of that alchemic je ne sais quois that usually makes good films crap. Reminds me somehow of Bill & Ted 1 in that regard. Which then reminds me of Howard The Duck. Oops, I'm drifting wildly :).)
