I never knew there was an OLAITS Torso CD!!

All these years I've tried to be all smug for buying Little Man Torso CD straight from a shop for a normal price too...

I'll never forget the day I bought it - I was at College, around 91-2 - I'd been desperate for ALMAAHATWWW on CD & then one day I'm doing my usually fruitless search in Spiller's in Cardiff .... and the whole world went rather funny & there it was. Next thing I remember is proudly displaying said prize to my chum.

Those were the days when rare records meant so much more - seeking anything you couldn't get became an obsession. By that I mean, if you hadn't heard it you wouldn't unless you could track down that elusive disc. Doesn't quite apply to Little Man cause I'd bought all the vinyl on release but you know what I mean I hope...

I also remember when (now this is very unestablished, because we're talking nearly 20yrs ago & my memory is shocking) Bic put a copy of the first CA single in Record Collector. Missed it though.

OK probably answered on this thread, but the tracks on my Little Man are listed on the reverse of the CD, not on the reverse of the booklet.

Could scan it if you want the finer details

Do you actually mean the CD or the box?

sorry, the box. yes. can scan the cd art itself if you wish, just let me know - i recall there's pics in the booklet, but can't remember how they compare to those on the original lyric insert that came with the LP cause it's buried somewhere

Psparky

Have PM'd you a link to a scan.

If Anyone else is interested, PM me. It's most of the booklet (not worth reproducing all of it since the first few pages are all the same), the rear & the CD art itself

a poem about a rat appears within, if that's a tempter.

Just don't want to violate copyright on a public forum

Thanks for the PM badger that was really good. I seem to remember the poem and bits now as I used to play my brothers version of it. Might go and see if I can borrow it from him.

On land and in the see doesnt have anything in the sleeve to say its any different at all although Mares nest is call "Blink Daddy Tv"? Im sure its called that on all sorts of versions? It does have Torso stamped on the sleeve but thats it.

Thanks again :)

Hey no probs, glad to be of service. I was having slightly sad geek fun realising I could scan via wifi anyway

"Blink daddy TV" appears as a title for that song, I believe, on the lyric insert on the vinyl - again tucked away somewheres.
