Sparkly Silvery Sky

Happy New Year chums.

I'm sorry I haven't been round much lately, but have been very busy doing 'stuff'. I haven't forgotton about you all and Mr Dogstand and that Dirty Boy have been keeping me up-to-date with all the goings on in the icy world that plays home to the Mares Nest.

Anyhoo, by way of apology for my tardy new year wishes, and to cheer you on the official 'Most Miserable Day of the Year', I can provide you with this little gem, as originally unearthed by Lil Malc on the chatlist.

Enjoy ...

That song for me was the first fresh Cardiacs song I'd heard in about 6 months when I first heard it and it knocked my socks off all over again. I bloody love this band, always surprising you with new brilliance :D

Oh my! Was this recorded for some unreleased DVD or something? Fantastic! This made my week, thank you. Is it up for download somewhere or anything like that?

...Majestic! This is the elusive 'Silvery' that Tim said they abandoned because of some kind of studio f*ckery foo isn't it? I second what Mog says...there must be a soundboard recording of this knocking around somewhere, they could obviously rock it's socks off live...where to download? How obtain?? Who have??? nnnnnnggghh...

It's grrrrreat... i really like the blurb: "England's strangest..." -- credit where credit's due.
i think there's a real rough version of the same thing somewhere on YouTube, or was, 'cos it was one of the first films i bumped into and watched it repeatedly -- i didn't realise it was an obscure number.
Well-threaded MrsD !

great!!
i´ve heard this song years ago when they played this internet-concert
(1999 ?) - but it was in a very poor quality...now this is really good!
always reminds me of "Trio" somehow...
